Indonesian Performing Arts of Oregon is a cultural based organization serving to promote Indonesian culture through music and dance. Our group consists of individuals of different age groups, dedicating their time to practice and showcase different dances from different Indonesian islands.
We have performed in various cultural events such the World Beat Festival (Salem, OR), Beaverton International Celebration (Beaverton, OR), Jade International Market (Portland,OR) and many more.
We have also won several awards such as best parade in Beaverton International Celebration.
Our dancers ranges from children to adults. We practice mostly on Saturdays once a week and learn different Indonesian dances every so often throughout the year.
We accept new dancers anytime in the year! We would love to have more dedicated and passionate dancers as part of the Indonesian Performing Arts of Oregon family.
